Your commission may begin with a striking coastal view, a memorable house, a garden filled with color, or a destination that holds a story. Using your photographs and memories as inspiration, I will create an original oil painting that captures the feeling of the place—not simply every detail.

  • Commissioned paintings typically require several weeks to complete, depending on the size, complexity, drying time, and current studio schedule.

    A nonrefundable deposit of 20% is required to reserve your place on the commission calendar to begin the painting. The remaining balance is due after completion and before delivery.

    Because every commission is an original work of art created in my distinctive style, the finished painting will be an artistic interpretation rather than an exact photographic reproduction.

Share Your Vision

Complete the commission inquiry form and tell me about the place you would like painted. You may include photographs, preferred colors, meaningful details, and the story behind the location.

Step 2
Select the Size and Composition

We will discuss available canvas sizes and composition. Together, we'll determine the best format for a one-of-a-kind painting that reflects your ideas and complements your home or office beautifully.

Step 3
Framed or Unframed & Expected Completion Date

Some clients prefer unframed art while others prefer to have it framed. I can also have it framed for you if you like. From there, I can calculate an expected completion date.

Step 4
Approve Pricing & Shipping Quote

After our first discussion, I can come back with a price for the painting as well as a shipping quote (unless you are local) for approval.

Step 5
Approve The Concept

Before painting begins, I will confirm the selected reference image and overall direction for the artwork.

Step 6
Your Painting is Created

I will thoughtfully interpret your subject through color, texture, atmosphere, and expressive brushwork. You will receive a progress update as the painting develops.

Step 7
Final Approval and Delivery

Once the painting is complete, I will send photographs for your review. After final payment, the artwork will be carefully packaged and shipped or arranged for local pickup.
